Established in 1904, the Athelstone Football Club has enjoyed an impressive history of dominant on-field success in senior and junior football. The Raggies have also provided the great people of Adelaide’s North East an energetic community hub for families and friends to socialise and enjoy an active lifestyle.

This membership group consists of three senior teams with 80 senior players, over 350 juniors, plus the club’s passionate supporter base including past players, parents, relatives, coaches, volunteers and administrators.

Recently, Athelstone’s Senior Coach and Magarey Medallist Jade Sheedy has guided the A Grade team to consecutive Grand Finals in 2016 and 2017. Sheedy also took the team from Division 3 in 2016 through Division 2 last year and finally to Division 1 in 2018.
